KERSEY COMMUNITY CHURCH

LEADERSHIP TEAM

  • Scott Miller, Lead Pastor

    Ministry & Background
Pastor Scott Miller is a lifelong resident of Northern Colorado with a deep-rooted commitment to the Kersey community. Scott grew up in the town of Kersey and is a graduate of Platte Valley High School. Scott first felt a call to ministry as a teenager and began leading youth and preaching as a high school student. He pursued his education at the University of Northern Colorado and later earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Colorado Christian University. With over 20 years of experience in ministry, Scott has served in diverse roles—including Youth Pastor, Worship Leader, Associate Pastor, and Teaching/Education Pastor—developing a well-rounded approach to leadership and congregational care.

    Leadership at KCC
Scott officially joined the staff at Kersey Community Church in 2015. Over a decade of dedicated service, his passion for studying and teaching the Bible became a hallmark of his ministry. In 2026, he stepped into his current role as the Teaching/Lead Pastor, where he continues to guide the congregation with a focus on scriptural depth and community connection.

    Personal Life
Outside of the pulpit, Scott is an avid fan of the Colorado Avalanche and rarely passes up the opportunity to play games of all kinds with his friends and family. Scott and his wife, Melissa, have been married since 2009. Together, they are the proud parents of two sons and remain deeply invested in the local community they call home.

  • Andrew Elliott, Care Pastor

    Roots & Family
For Andrew Elliott, Kersey isn't just a dot on the map—it’s home. Having grown up right here in our community and within the walls of this church, Andrew has a deep-seated love for our congregation. His family legacy runs deep here; his grandfather served as our pastor for 21 years, instilling in Andrew a lifelong commitment to ministry. Andrew is joined in his journey by his wife, Marissa, and their three children.

    Education & Experience
Andrew’s path in ministry began at Frontier School of the Bible, where he gained the foundational tools for a life of service. After graduating, he spent five years as a youth pastor in central South Dakota, pouring into the next generation. He then returned to his alma mater, Frontier School of the Bible, where he served as the Dean of Men for five and a half years, mentoring and guiding young men in their faith.

    A Heart for People
At the core of everything Andrew does is a genuine heart for people. Whether it’s through a simple conversation, a time of crisis, or everyday fellowship, he is driven by a desire to care for others and see them thrive in their relationship with Christ. He is thrilled to be back in the community that raised him, serving the people he loves.
